Criso
Tyler Criso (professionally Criso) is a Raleigh, North Carolina–based DJ and producer working across bass music, dubstep, drum & bass, halftime and UK garage.
Criso began the current Criso project in 2022 after developing earlier music projects and has been active in the underground bass scene since around 2021. His debut EP, Emerge, credited to Tyler Criso, was released on November 4, 2022. Since then he has put out multiple singles and remixes and maintains releases on Bandcamp, Spotify and Apple Music.
As a producer, Criso focuses on low‑end weight and rhythmic variation. His tracks commonly use halftime grooves alongside faster drum patterns, pitched and chopped breaks, and swung UK garage percussion to create contrast between pocketed rhythms and heavy subs.
