Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the things junglists ask most about the portal. Question not here? Pull up on the Contact page.

What is DROP THE BASS?+

A global drum and bass and jungle portal that pulls releases, junglist artists, raves, mixes, pirate radio shows, dancefloor videos and editorial into one searchable soundsystem for the worldwide D&B and jungle massive.

Do I need an account to rinse the site?+

Nah. Most of the portal is wide open — no login needed. Create an account to set up a junglist profile, follow your favourite DJs and save tunes, mixes and raves.

How do I drop my dubplate?+

Use the on-site dubplate flow on the Demos page. Our junglist editors audition submissions on a rolling basis and pull up when something fits the dance.

How do I get my rave listed?+

Promoters, crews, venues and festivals publish events through their own profiles. Once live, the rave shows up in public listings, related junglist pages and the city massive.

How do I report incorrect data or copyright issues?+

Pull up via the Contact page and pick the relevant channel. Takedown and correction requests are taken seriously and answered within a few business days.

Is DROP THE BASS worldwide?+

Yes. The portal rolls globally — content is curated across cities, scenes and languages, with a default English interface. The soundsystem don’t stop.
