X3Butterfly

A Mexican-American DJ and producer, originally from Detroit and now based in New York. X3Butterfly’s journey began as an experimental performance artist at the California Institute of the Arts, inspired by pioneers like Throbbing Gristle and Floorplan. After relocating to Berlin in 2016, they transitioned to DJing, gaining recognition through electrifying HÖR sets. Known for raw, genre-defying performances—blending jungle, drum and bass, R&B, dubstep, techno, and world music at 140-160 BPM—they’ve rocked stages across Mexico, Germany, Denmark, Greece, and the U.S., including NYC hotspots like Bossa Nova, Basement, Mood Ring, and Nowadays.

Secret of Manna

A visionary multidisciplinary project by Tim Nicholson, a DJ, sculptor, phantom video game designer, and professor in the Media Arts and Design program at The University of Chicago. Secret of Manna transforms everyday objects into sonic art, fusing biblical references, early internet culture, and ‘90s video game aesthetics into a bold, contemporary soundscape. With a foundation in sculpture, Nicholson crafts genre-defying music that explores cultural nuance and alchemy.
