About the event

On July 25, as part of the 10th anniversary of the APLAY formation, the walls of Keller will host a performance by a true architect of broken rhythms and a historic figure of the British underground scene.

Paradox (Dev Pandya) is an Indian-British producer and DJ, the creator of the term "drumfunk" and the undisputed king of drum breaks. Having worked with electronic sound for over 30 years, Paradox has become a unique musician who boldly collaborates with the entire iconic side of the D'n'B scene.

Since 1992, he has released 10 vinyl albums and more than 200 releases on the industry’s leading labels, including Moving Shadow, Reinforced, Good Looking, Hospital, and Goldie’s legendary Metalheadz. Also performing under the ambient alias Alaska, he has created his own recognizable sound — deep atmospheres combined with intricate, finely crafted breaks.

In 2026, the artist is set to release his milestone 200th vinyl record and make a triumphant return of the METASP series on Metalheadz (together with Ukrainian artist Seba). But first, he’s ready to set the right rhythm within the walls of Keller.
