MATRIXUNNI was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She is Korean and African-American; fluent in Korean. As a child, Matrix worked at her father’s music store, where she heard a lot of Rock music. Inspired by her father, Matrix began her career as a singer-songwriter and spent 3 years in Los Angeles, where she first started producing and DJing.
The MATRIXUNNI sound is best described as sexy, high-fashion Drum n’ Bass; with influences from southern Trap, K-pop, and Rock, her selection of Drum n’ Bass has an aggressive, yet seductive ambiance with a psychedelic flare that intrigues all. In a short span, Matrix has built a small cult following with a promise to shift the sound of today's music.
MATRIXUNNI was the first DJ on Goyo Club’s “Electric Cleaners” series. Matrix has played shows with Ivy Lab, DEF, The Glitch Mob, and Chase & Status. As a model, Matrix has worked with brands like Off-White and made her runway debut with Alexander Wang. Matrix is also the creative director of ZYNK Agency, a boutique creative agency based in Atlanta.
Whether in DJing, production, modeling, or design – Matrix continues to blur the lines between music, visual art, and fashion.
JFÜNG
Born and raised in Hong Kong, JFÜNG started his journey of electronic music & djing since 2014 and after years of traveling and exploring of music selection & production, he was deeply influenced by the underground scenes & music festivals from cities like Los Angeles, Taipei, Shanghai, Amsterdam, Shenzhen and more. In the summer of 2021, JFÜNG curated “DARK METAZ”, an audio-visual-journey experience, an underground bass-music rave collective that showcasing talents with their darker sounds and visuals, including a resident radio show on FMBelowground. JFÜNG is obsessed with deep, dark, bass-heavy rhythms, and his live sets always take the listener on a journey of electronic music. In 2023, he has been invited to play at
Clockenflap, Omni Field & ShiFuMiz, also Dark Metaz was selected by Hebbe from Netherlands, legendary group from USA - The Glitch Mob & the up-and-coming dubstep superstar from UK - Hamdi as the official host & promoter for their Asia tour in Hong Kong.
Jeremy Cheung
Jeremy began learning the art of DJing at the age of 16 and has now been honing his craft for over two decades. His DJ sets offer a seamless blend of genres, ranging from House and Techno to Electro, Trance, Disco, and more. With a lifelong passion for an eclectic spectrum of music, Jeremy delivers electrifying performances, showcasing his extensive knowledge of tracks, labels, remixers, and producers.
Beyond simply playing music, Jeremy strives to elevate the art of mixing. His tight, solid transitions, impeccable track selection, and thoughtful sequencing have earned him high praise from the clubbing scene. Those who have experienced Jeremy’s sets know he stands out as a DJ with a profound understanding of music, surpassing many of his peers over the years.
Jeremy is a regular at top underground clubs in Hong Kong, including Oma, Mihn, and Social Room. His talent has also taken him to renowned clubs and venues worldwide, such as La Station (Paris), Golden Gate (Berlin), Klub Famu (Prague), Faust (Seoul), Mitsuki (Tokyo), .TAG (Chengdu), Savage (Hanoi), and more. He’s performed at major festivals like Clockenflap, Sónar Hong Kong, Airhouse (South Korea), and Intro Festival (Mongolia).
Notably, Jeremy holds the record for the longest DJ set ever played in Hong Kong, an impressive 15-hour marathon performance.
Casey Anderson
Originally from a small town in Florida, USA, Casey played piano since primary school, but first knew he wanted to be a musician professionally when he joined his first band at the age of 16, playing keyboard and accordion. While studying abroad in Hong Kong in 2006 he attended a rave party on a beach in Lamma Island, where he was so impressed with the free-spirited atmosphere that he swore to become a DJ as soon as possible. Within a couple years he was a resident DJ at Yumla (in the location of today's Oma, where he's still a resident), kicking off a long evolution from his early "anything goes" indie-electro-disco-80s parties to the more spacey side of techno and ambient music that he primarily plays today.
