Grime and Punishment vol.XXIV

No respite, no room for ease. In a raw confrontation with what seems like both internal and external wreckage, we sift through the layers of decay left behind by systems built to suffocate. From this wreckage, we carve out new ways to move, but also ways to exist, to be without asking permission, untying knots, rejecting scripted normalities.

This earth, in chaos, leaves little room for restraint or frivolousness. Instead, it invites the gory internal workings of bodies in crisis to break through layers of malfunctioning systemic residue and reimagine movement within as much as we can make of a self-ruling space.

Perceived as a direct untainted and reactive reflection of modern societies and cultures, we're keen to hear what the commentary will be.

Expect trap, grime, drum n bass, noise, jungle, hip hop, rap, footwork, limb work and all kinds of work.
