Aaron Jay runs and owns Influence Records. It was first set up in 2008 as an outlet for quality, deep, liquid drum and bass. The label has had 20 releases from some new and established artist within the scene which include: Brother, Raw Q, ICR, Kjell, Bal, Data, Sinistarr, Dave Owen, Random Movement, Mix Master Doc, Eveson, Mr Joseph, Soul Intent, Specific, Atom, Flaco, Lynx, Aaron Jay, Furney, Locksmith, Easy, Geeks and Sergio Manifesto. Aaron Jay started DJing in 1997. In 2002 Aaron Jay found his residency at Fabio's night, Swerve, playing every month to the dub hungry punters who like their rhythms soulful and funky. Known for playing Detroit Techno, Dub, Jazz, Rare Groove and deep inspired Drum and Bass, he has also gone on to perform at such legendary venues as Fabric, Heaven, Brixton Academy aswell as playing abroad. Aaron has also teamed up with Lynx to create music which has been released by the likes on 31 Records and Influence.
