Edinburgh crew, this Tuesday, we’re buzzing to welcome two of Scotland’s DnB mainstays, Hex and Calaco Jack, to The Bongo Club. They’re making the journey through ahead of the 20th birthday of their iconic Glasgow party, Symbiosis - a proper institution in the DnB scene to give you a taster of what's in store for the big night out later this month!

With over 15 years in Glasgow, DJ Hex’s deep passion for the genre drives his diverse production style, ranging from minimal rollers to dark tech, jungle, and melodic liquid. Starting out in the underground scene, he's reached wider acclaim across Scottish DnB while releasing a series of albums stretching back 10 years. Hex is best known for his residency at Glasgow's renowned Symbiosis night, where he tests new cuts and warms up crowds, but also for writing DnB Dojo which many consider the preeminent blog and podcast for the genre.

Calaco Jack brings a varied set of jungle cuts and DnB from 20 years of throwing up parties across Scotland and beyond. One of Symbiosis' residents, Jack is a crucial part of what makes the iconic night so special. With sets full of soul that pulls from long experience while keeping it fresh and experimental - Calaco Jack has stayed strong in the Jungle and DnB scenes for very good reason.
