DANNY BYRD

Hailing from Bath in the South West of England, Danny Byrd has been shaping the Drum & Bass landscape since the late ’90s. A pioneer of soulful, vocal-driven liquid funk, his journey began with his 1998 release “Manhattan” on DJ Ron’s Piccasso imprint, before joining the legendary Hospital Records in 2000.

His breakthrough came with “Do It Again” and “Changes,” bringing a fresh fusion of D&B with soulful house, garage, and R&B flavours. His remix of London Elektricity’s “Wishing Well” further cemented his reputation, delivering Todd Edwards–inspired vocal chops that became a Fabio favourite. Additional standout remixes include High Contrast’s “Music Is Everything” and Tungsten & Morph’s “Expand Your Mind.”
