Vardaeは、ジャンルの枠を超えて新たな音楽の可能性を探求するアーティスト兼トラックメイカーで、今回が初の来日となります。フランスでは、自身が主催するオープンエアイベント「Ouroboros」が話題を呼んでおり、バルセロナのMostraにも出演するなど、今まさに注目を集めている存在です。彼のパフォーマンスは、トライバルなリズムに催眠的なサウンドを重ね、ダブ、テクノ、ドラムンベースといったジャンルを自在に行き来しながら、観客を音楽の旅へと誘います。

今回、日本での初プレイとなるResonanceでは、Lisa Mizunoの主催する特別なステージにてLiveパフォーマンスを披露します。

続いて登場するのは、今や東京を代表するDJデュオ兼オーガナイズチーム、ZUNDOKO DISCO（BOW & SISINOBU）。東北地方で10年以上にわたるパーティオーガナイズ経験を経て、現在は東京を拠点に活動中。日本を代表するrural festivalへの出演も果たし、テクノグルーヴはもちろん、ヒップホップやドラムンベースとも親和性の高いプレイスタイルで知られています。

そしてフライヤーアートワークは筆ペン作家のMORIHIKO KAWAMOTOにお願いしました。

彼の繊細で優美かつどこか毒のある作品に惚れ、今回特別に元ある作品に更に手を加えて頂きResonanceのフライヤーと致しました。

Vardae is an artist and trackmaker who explores new musical realms beyond genres, and this event marks his first-ever visit to Japan. In France, he runs his own open-air event series, Ouroboros, which has been gaining buzz lately. He has also performed at Barcelona’s Mostra, further solidifying his reputation as a rising figure to watch. Vardae’s performances are characterized by hypnotic sounds layered over tribal rhythms, seamlessly transitioning between genres like dub, techno, and drum & bass, taking the audience on a musical journey.

For his debut performance in Japan at Resonance, an event hosted by Lisa Mizuno, Vardae will present a special live set.

Next in the lineup is ZUNDOKO DISCO (BOW & SISINOBU), a DJ duo and organizing team now synonymous with Tokyo’s underground scene. After 10 years of party organizing in the Tohoku region, they are now based in Tokyo, with highlights such as performances at Japan’s renowned rural festival. Their DJ style, which blends techno grooves with elements of hip-hop and drum & bass, perfectly complements this event’s lineup.
