Soulox Jungle Curation Night: Carter Landon, Teala Vera, Queermom, Lonald J Bandz, Soulox

Introducing Carter Landon. A staple of the Jungle/Drum & Bass scene in Austin Texas. More widely known as one of the co-founders of the Lush ATX crew, Carter has had a significant impact on bringing jungle to a new generation of listeners. You can clearly hear how Carter appeals to such with their music production and design language which bring waves of nostalgia for the new generation.

Introducing Teala Vera. Teala has also captured my attention over the past year or so by bringing lots of club elements into her production. I was able to get a closer look at what her selection when she was in SF last year. Her along with other notable DJ/Producers Mars Kumari, Umaifunk, Firestar, as well as myself. Hailing from Chicago, you can definitely hear a lot of chicago influences within her production.

Joining them tonight will be Lonald J Bandz, a stunning local bay area DJ/Producer who tends to dip their toes within a plethora of different sounds. Local DJ Queermom will also be joining us tonight. Another DJ who I've had my eye on over the past year. They've been regularly playing shows here in the bay area and never fails to bring the energy.
