Skäta is Manuel Cardoso, Dj/Music Producer from Porto.

In 1999, as one of the first D'nB dj's in Portugal, Skäta helps to shape the early scene through his interpretation of the UK's underground culture, playing sets that were acknowledged with great impact by the community .

Inspired by his few Portuguese peers at the time and specially by absorbing U.K.'s jungle/dnb culture, he devours music and keeps coming back to London for crate digging and self-cultivation.

Skäta correlates all this stimuli through the decks and in the studio, having his debut album in the oven after 20+ years of Djaying.
