We1sman brings an electrifying energy to the decks. With a basis of Ghettotech and Footwork, complemented by the sounds of Jersey Club, Bootyhouse, Techno, House, and more, We1sman will have you up, activated, and shaking ass all night long.

“When We1sman is on decks, it’s not optional — you’re moving,” writes the management of TV Lounge, an iconic Detroit venue, famed for world-class techno and house music events. A bright, fresh energy in the club scene, We1sman immersed themselves in Detroit’s music and people, finding refuge in techno clubs early in 2024 in the aftermath of a long but triumphant bout with addiction. Soon after that, We1sman met his mentor, Ember LaFíamma, and was introduced to her collective Homie Hangz.

Homie Hangz is a DJ collective as well as a weekly creative workshop and open decks, based out of Trumbulplex in Detroit. We1sman continues to be an active member of Homie Hangz and now helps to facilitate the programming as well. As a part of the collective, We1sman traveled to New York City in February 2026 to perform at various events throughout the city as a part of the “Homie Hangz: Detroit to Brooklyn Mini Tour.”

With a sound inspired by the Detroit underground and clubs nationwide, We1sman brings an electrifying energy to the decks and an amalgam of genres to the dancefloor, with a basis of Ghettotech and Footwork complemented by the sounds of Jersey Club, Bootyhouse, Techno, House, and so much more. An active member of the Detroit Queer community, We1sman currently holds residencies at The Eagle of Detroit, Menjos, and Pronto Lounge, and can be found across the city wherever the sound is right and the people are moving.

Playing alongside internationally acclaimed artists like DJ Assault, DJ Godfather, Chippy Nonstop, Sheefy McFly, AMX, and more, We1sman continues to show their growing prowess and adaptability, melding dancefloors with an uptempo vigor that leaves audiences hungry for more. Establishing a home in the dancefloors of Detroit, they have found a love and calling in the music, cultivating eclectic and energized experiences that call upon the familiar and the unknown to create a feeling of euphoric enjoyment. We1sman will have you up, activated, and shaking ass all night long.
