Stuck on Earth Entertainment was founded in 1994 by Chris Kausch and Jeffrey Cohen. These 2 men have created a production company with an outstanding reputation and have showcased an unlimited stream of local, national, and international talent from all types of electronic music genres. Stuck on Earth has been successful in conceptualizing and promoting some of New York City's best events and weekly parties. Their meticulous attention to detail and quality is reflected in their top-notch production and organization. Stuck on Earth has had the honor of producing their events at some legendary clubs and venues in New York City, New Jersey and Miami such as, Limelight, Tunnel, Roxy, Vinyl, The Circle Line Piers, Randall's Island, Brookhaven Amphitheater, Studio B, Hammerstein Ballroom, and The South Street Seaport. The BOO events is the biggest event produced by Stuck On earth and the first boo was held in 1996 and ran until 2004. Boo outgrew every venue it was held in and doubled in attendance every year. This Halloween annual event brings some of the most respected talent from all over the globe and demonstrates how special Stuck On Earth is. I have a dream is the annual Martin Luther King event. This show was one on NYC’s largest events and has sold out in each venue where it was held. The first three I Have a Dream’s where held at the Amazura Concert Hall in Queens NY with a capacity of 4,000. All three years reached capacity and forcing the event to move to the Hammerstein Ballroom with a capacity of 6,000. Stuck on Earth has all tag-team slots for this event and brings the most outrageous performers together for one spectacular show. JOY is an annual holiday season benefit Chris and Jeffrey created to raise money and food for NYC’s homeless. Each partier is asked to contribute 3 non-perishable food items at the door. The first party brought 800 people and the third JOY outgrew the original and attracted an attendance of over 1200. In 2001 Joy reached capacity at NYC legendary nightclub the Limelight. The talent has been solid every year and the spirit of giving makes it an unforgettable night for all. One of Stuck On Earth’s much-heralded one-offs is BEATBOX, which is a mix of the best of all styles of electronic, with a dash of turntablist and hip-hop. This event has more than tripled in size since its inception in 1998. Stuck on Earth is also known for their weekly events such as SOUP which specializes in serving up a steamy blend of diverse cutting edge house music and has featured top DJs and producers. SOUP received excellent reviews from Paper Magazine, which stated “MAD PROPS”. REEESPECT, another undoubtly successful weekly, consist of a celebration of beats, combining drum n bass, hip-hop, and breaks. REEESPECT features live performances, DJS, MCS, turntablist, as well as open mic sessions for aspiring MCs. REEESPECT has also hosted many tours from some of the most top record companies from all over the world. Stuck on Earth has had the pleasure of hosting some of the most prestigious tours such as VIRUS, MOONSHINE OVER AMERICA, MOVING SHADOW, KUNG FU KNOWLEDGE, and CAFFEINE. Stuck On Earth has also had some great sponsors who we have worked with throughout the years. SONY, MAC GEAR, YAK PAK, G-SHOCK, TRIPLE 5 SOUL, BUDWEISER, and RED BULL. In 2001 the NYC Village Voice named Stuck ON Earth “BEST RAVE PROMOTER” in their best of yearly awards and said this “Most rave promoters need really big flyers to get your attention, because their lineup is so wack: You'd rather just use the poster-sized waste of trees to line your cat box. But Chris and Jeff of STUCK ON EARTH don't have to resort to such tactics: They consistently bring top-notch talent that real music-heads—as opposed to E-heads—love. Thanks to their alternative, adult-friendly, pocket-sized flyers, you'll even find a few old folks at parties like Boo and I Have a Dream, where SOE feature such headliners as Stacey Pullen, Derrick May, Bad Company, and Mark Farina. While they do set aside a trance room to cater to the kiddie masses, the promoters let good taste prevail, smartly satisfying everyone from jungle nuts to house addicts.”
