Chicago's smartbar is one of the United States' most important night clubs. The 400 capacity venue opened in 1982, and has become the beating heart of the city's dance music scene. Many of Chicago's most respected DJs have held residencies at the club: Frankie Knuckles, The Black Madonna and Derrick Carter just to name three. Today the club mixes musically diverse local talent with a range of internationally famous guests.
