Doc Scott

Scott McIlroy (born 1971, Coventry) performs as Doc Scott and Nasty Habits. He is a DJ and producer associated primarily with jungle and drum and bass. He has releases on Reinforced, Metalheadz and Absolute 2, runs the 31 Records / 31 Recordings imprint, and is based in London, United Kingdom.

McIlroy entered the rave and club circuit in 1989–1990. He began DJing at early events and venues including Amnesia House and The Eclipse. He released early material under his own name and the Nasty Habits alias — facts that mark the start of his recorded presence in the early-1990s scene.

Doc Scott’s recorded output includes the early single “NHS” on Absolute 2 and the Nasty Habits release “Here Come The Drumz” on Reinforced.
