flowanastasia is a Toronto-based producer and vocalist working across drum and bass, jungle and adjacent bass styles. Her listed genres include bassline, chillstep, drum and bass, drumstep, dubstep, jungle, liquid funk and moombahton. She performs and releases under the name flowanastasia after changing her stage name from "Anastasia" around 2021.

Born in Ukraine and raised in Canada, she trained in classical piano for 12 years before concentrating on electronic music. That formal musical background is a recurring factual point in press and credits and informs how she writes melodies and harmonies for her productions and vocal parts. She records frequently with engineer Tyr Kohout and appears live as a duo with him.

As a producer and vocalist, her work sits where melodic, vocal-forward liquid elements meet heavier bassline and dub-influenced low end. In recognition of her vocal work she was nominated for Best Vocalist at the Drum&BassArena Awards in 2022 and has won Best Vocalist at the Toronto DnB Awards for 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
