Nuwei is the stage name of Dmitry Tsitovich, a Moscow-based drum & bass DJ and producer working across bassline, Disco Polo–influenced material, and drum and bass. He began releasing music around 2020 and is credited on releases through 2025.
Tsitovich launched Nuwei as a production and DJ project in Moscow; public records show he started issuing tracks circa 2020 and subsequently put out singles and collaborations. His recorded collaborations include work with Ryan Audley, Oneder and Punchman. Nuwei appears on the compilation/album Включите Мне Драмнбейс (2024) and on Bass Is Pumping 2.0 (2025).
Musically, Nuwei positions bassline and Disco Polo melodic material inside drum and bass tempos. That typically shows up as prominent, pitched low-end lines and short, bright melodic hooks derived from Dance/Disco-Polo motifs layered over DnB rhythms. Where genre labels meet in his work, expect swung or syncopated bassline patterns at 170–176 bpm, clipped vocal or synth stabs, and production choices that prioritise punchy low mids and clear transient hits for snares and kicks.
As a producer, Nuwei’s output has been released via a cluster of independent labels. His releases and credits list associations with КОСТЁР (Koster Records), Ignescent Records, Time of Night Records, Gunsta Records and Elephant Trunk. Specific tracks and single titles are documented on the releases and compilations noted above rather than as a standalone full album to date.
Collaborations with Ryan Audley, Oneder and Punchman are the clearest public connections in his discography; those credits indicate cross-collaboration with producers active in adjacent bass and DnB circles. Beyond the named collaborations and the two compilation appearances (Включите Мне Драмнбейс, 2024; Bass Is Pumping 2.0, 2025), detailed public biographical information is limited.
Nuwei’s recorded tracklist and label credits through 2025 provide the verifiable outline of his career so far: Moscow-based, producer and DJ, active from around 2020, with releases on КОСТЁР (Koster Records), Ignescent Records, Time of Night Records, Gunsta Records and Elephant Trunk, and collaborations with Ryan Audley, Oneder and Punchman.
