Crilli DNB is 20: Fracture (Astrophonica)

We’re delighted to welcome Astrophonica label boss Charlie Fracture back to Irish shores once again, landing at Ulster Sports Club on Saturday 7th March for a very special pirate radio–influenced set.

A Rinse FM resident and long-time favourite at Crilli, it’s rare for a night to go by without at least one Fracture track rattling the USC rig.

Back in 2022, Charlie delivered his most ambitious project to date: 0860 — a multimedia celebration of London pirate radio in the 90s.

The project features his debut LP of the same name, alongside a podcast and interview series exploring the history, folklore, and cultural impact of one of the key pillars of the early UK rave scene.

For this night, we’ve asked Charlie to dig into that world and play a pirate radio “influences” set. Expect a rare journey through the many styles and sounds that have shaped Fracture’s musical palette, and helped forge him into the formidable UK bass force he is today.
