Ivy Lab은 Sabre와 Stray로 구성된 런던 출신 듀오로, UK 베이스 음악의 경계를 확장해온 대표적인 실험가들입니다. 힙합·하프타임·레프트필드 베이스가 만나는 지점을 개척하며 자신들만의 사운드를 구축했고, 이 탐구는 곧 그들의 레이블이자 플랫폼인 20/20 LDN으로 확장되었습니다. 데뷔 앨범 Death Don’t Always Taste Good와 장르를 뒤흔든 “Cake”, Two Fingers와의 “Orange”를 비롯한 수많은 트랙들이 전 세계 클럽과 페스티벌에서 큰 반향을 일으키며 Ivy Lab은 현대 베이스 신에서 독보적인 위치를 차지하게 되었습니다.

이들은 이후에도 미니멀하고 실험적인 음향을 탐구하는 EP 시리즈와 2022년 A/V 기반 앨범 Infinite Falling Ground로 사운드의 폭을 넓혀왔습니다. Glastonbury, EDC Vegas, Sonar, Shambhala, CTM Berlin 등 세계 주요 축제 라인업에 꾸준히 이름을 올리며, 프로듀서·DJ·레이블 오너로서 모두 인정받는 Ivy Lab은 지금도 베이스 음악의 최전선을 갱신하는 움직임의 중심에 서 있습니다.

Ivy Lab is the London-born duo of Sabre and Stray, widely recognized as leading innovators who have pushed the boundaries of UK bass music for over a decade. Blending the textures of hip-hop with halftime drum & bass and leftfield bass experimentation, they’ve forged a distinct sonic identity—one that naturally expanded into their influential label and platform, 20/20 LDN.

Their debut album Death Don’t Always Taste Good, along with era-defining tracks such as the scene staple “Cake”, the Two Fingers collaboration “Orange”, and countless other releases, have made a lasting impact on clubs and festivals worldwide. Ivy Lab continued to evolve through a series of minimal and experimental EPs, culminating in their 2022 A/V-driven album Infinite Falling Ground, which further broadened their artistic scope. With consistent appearances at major festivals including Glastonbury, EDC Vegas, Sonar, Shambhala, and CTM Berlin, Ivy Lab stands today as one of the most respected producer–DJ–label outfits in contemporary bass music—remaining firmly at the forefront of the movement they helped shape.
