Mr Whompy TAKE OVER - Live at OTHERSIDE

In short, Mr Whompy is an Ice Cream Van Dj booth / Whompin Soundsystem powered by Void & Pioneer. Sounds cool right? Imagine the pulling up to the famous Portobello Road and bringing that real street party vibe.

What started as a fun project between friends quickly grew into a popular fixture at festivals around Bristol and across the UK. Stuart remembered Mr Whompy's first ever gig at BrisFest in Ashton Court back in 2013, which they booked before they had even secured the van. It went on to provide a mini music stage for festivals, events, weddings and corporate events.

Over the past decade, Mr Whompy toured Elrow, Motion, Boomtown, Lakota, The Full Moon, Rave On Avon, Lemonfest, Sequences, Nibley Festival, Volksfest, Tokyo World and many more. Most notably, Stuart and his friends have played Boomtown Festival every year the event's been on for the past decade which sees around 78,000 festival goers attend each year.

Safe to say this is a crew that have earned their stripes!
