Afterglow is Newcastle's very own queer drum and bass night. We celebrate queer voices in bass music, giving you a generous serving of DnB in a variety of flavours, alongside other bassy experimental sounds. Platforming women, non-binary and transgender DJs and providing a space for all to enjoy and express themselves.

Serving up a concoction of autumnal warmth, fire and untamed chaos, flowing through the realms of Reggae, Dub, Drum and Bass, Jungle, LatinCore and more from the depths and edges of Latinx club music.

(DJ) IMELDA is a wurld’melding deejay, treating the dansfloor as a place of therapy + healing. a place for energetic, release + alkemykal transmutation to take place, through music as medicine, their selections range from mellow soul nurturing sounds, to bass heavy + syncopated rhythms blending genres such as soul, garage, dub, funk reggea, r&b, footwork, jungle, hip hop and more…

Jamurai is a skilled DJ/producer living in Leeds with experience beyond her years: with sets at historic rave venue such as Glastonbury festival and The Cause, Jamurai has been described as ‘an exciting future talent’ by Bristol’s Nitelife Magazine. She ha gone toe-to-toe on line-ups with heavyweights such as Joy Orbison, and booked notable DJs like Fliss Mayo and Frazer Ray for her own night Sector Music in Leeds.

Her versatility is plain to see, earning residencies with both Northern Jungle and Bristol based FLINTA queer disco night Misscoteque; but whether breakbeat or disco, garage or UK Funky, watch her bring the energy with a big smile on her face!

Toi-700 will be curating an alt bootyscape exploring crossroads between latincore and drum & bass. Per DJ sets play at staying connected and feeling whole, playing fun, chaotic, fiery and frosty mixes of latinx club styles ~ reggeatoncito, neo-perreo, baile funk, bellakeo bien bleak, gabba-guanco (^.~)☆
