Party25+ artists. 5 collectives. Two rooms. One night.
Blender Collective, Murmuration Records, BrainRave Music and The Midnight Massacre unite at Volks for a full-venue takeover - with a Room 2 takeover from Bass Pirates alongside many more artists.
Pulling talent from the Mecca of Neurofunk, Czech Republic, the lineup also features Brighton locals alongside artists travelling in from London, Bristol, Norwich, and Liverpool.
Headlining the night is the UK back-to-back debut of Dr. Ax b2b Kaama (Darkshire) - a duo known across Europe for their precision, velocity and controlled chaos behind the decks.
Joining them is Xaetis, whose striking sound design, atmospheric tension and razor-edged production have positioned him as one of the most forward-thinking names rising in the scene. Expect immersive depth, detail and impact.
Across both rooms, more than 25 artists represent their collectives with carefully curated B2Bs, diverse energy and a shared commitment to pushing the underground forward.
A rare cross-collective collaboration - united under one roof for one night.

All puns intended, the brainchild of the label has manifested from three local DJs turned Promoters and Producers from the West Midlands area. Matt Trotman (Tollgate Shindigs) has been no stranger to the inner workings of the Drum & Bass scene with a history going back as far as the late 1990’s where he established his ‘Nocturnal Combustion’ event in the heart of Coventry booking a whole host of well known acts you see today. Legends such as Andy C, Ed Rush, Bad Company, Bryan Gee, MC Flux and the mighty DJ SS graced the stage at these events for many years. Fast forward to 2023 and BrainRave rears its ugly head in the midlands with a brand new forward thinking outlook on the Neurofunk Drum & Bass scene, bringing in new partners and long time friends Ian Gulliver (DJG) and Rob Steel (REBEL) to the team to take the brand to a whole new level. Lots to come from BrainRave in terms of events, releases and takeover sets this year and beyond to help rewire the circuitry of the scene as we know it. *EDIT* We welcome in Dennis McClung (DJ Syn) from across the Atlantic, UK based music journalist Marc Chisholm (CHIZ) and UK based MC/DJ/Producer James Lock (BassPhaze) to the BrainRave family with a view to helping push this brand to its maximum potential.
