DJ Flight is an award-winning DJ, broadcaster, and co-founder of EQ50 - a collective of women working towards fairer representation in the music industry. Flight’s connection to Marcus runs deep. A frequent guest DJ for the Soul:ution club night, Flight has always championed Soul:r and Marcus’s music in her sets and radio shows on 1Xtra and Rinse.
EIJER originally worked with Marcus in the Eastern Bloc Leeds branch before releasing on Soul:r under (Glenn AI, alongside Zula). AI subsequently launched the Integral label which has become a byword for the very best deep and soulful drum & bass.
Production duo Future Cut were supported by Marcus during their early years on the Manchester scene and went onto release on Metalheadz, Renegade Hardware and more. Their 'Midnight' track featuring Jenna G remains an absolute classic to this day. They’ve since gone on to work with Lily Allen and Wretch 32.
Tasha is one of London’s most highly regarded DJs and founder of the Neighbourhood techno event and record label. Tasha first met Marcus at the annual SunAndBass festival in Sardinia and went on to become a close friend as they both successfully had one foot in both the drum & bass and techno scenes. Tasha keeps Marcus’s spirit alive by playing his music at the likes of Berghain and through her work with the Marcus Intalex Foundation.
There will also be DJ sets after the panel from EIJER (Glenn AI), Mark OD, and more TBC.
