ELSEWHERE brings another hybrid event focusing on artists from across BC.

Emrrld (Nelson / Vancouver) is no stranger to quality productions and well crafted deep DJ sets. Scree Running (Victoria) is representing the excellent Resonance Collective. TSC_ aka Limnal is visiting from Nelson for another club oriented DJ set. He is also co-curating this lineup with us for this event. Anomalous and Vasho will be representing the Elsewhere vision for this show.

Expect a well rounded bass-forward evening, going late on a proper sound system at your favourite local East Vancouver spot.

EMRRLD /

Emrrld is the expansive musical alias of Tyler Freele. Known equally for his spirited productions and smooth vinyl blends, Emrrld brings a dynamic energy to wherever he plays. From deep listening to lively dance floors, Emrrld’s sound is rooted in a magnetic bass-driven minimalism. Flipping samples and working largely with an ever-changing pallet of hardware, his productions bring you to a unique yet nostalgic world.

A resident to West Coast festival staples like Bass Coast and Shambhala, Emrrld’s collection of independant releases and his weighty record crate generate a momentous yet deeply rooted sound.

SCREE RUNNING [ Victoria / Resonance Collective]

Whether pushing laptops to hifreq fan-whir while creating sharply detailed and idiosyncratically arranged electronic music, or coaxing pre-dawn dance floors to lysergic meltdown with genre-agnostic, emotive and ever so slightly freewheeling dance music, Scree Running works with the primordial matter of sound, tweaking its patterns into the DNA of audio worlds yet to condensate.

Scree Running’s tracks have found homes on dance floors and radio shows worldwide, with support from platforms such as NTS, Keep Hush, Subtle Radio, and B Side Radio. With releases and remixes on Pleasure Management, a forward-thinking label the co-founded in 2024 alongside Looting and Pablo Gun, Vancouver’s NAGA label, and Turbo A.V. their sound continues mutate with the present. As a core member of ‘Victoria’s’ Resonance Collective, Scree Running works with a tight knit group of like minded artists on the island to throw parties that champion locally underrepresented forms of electronic music.

TSC_ (aka LIMNAL) [Nelson / SYNDKT]

Raising unconventional, genre-defying music to the forefront, tsc_ (aka Tom Suncat) brings a depth of experience in the underground and festival circuit to life in a slew of breakbeat infused sonics. With an eye on the bleeding edge, and the other on timeless classics, expect heavy pressure and rich atmospheres through the system in a unique blend of both the familiar and the unknown.

ANOMALOUS /

Anomalous has been a fixture in Vancouver’s underground electronic music scene since 2012. Known for curating vinyl nights at local eateries, throwing renegade forest parties across B.C., and regularly appearing on platforms like Bside Radio, Nautilus, and Elsewhere Events, he consistently delivers sounds on the deeper end of the spectrum. His sets weave together groovy breaks, psychedelic textures, and deep, driving basslines—spanning genres from 130 BPM electro and post-dubstep 140, to weird 150 BPM UK club sounds, drum and bass, heavy jungle, and halftime.

VASHO [Elsewhere / SHAHdjs]

Vasho is a DJ and promoter based in Vancouver and the Sunshine Coast. A member of SHAHdjs, he also runs the event series Elsewhere, which focuses on leftfield bass music, modern drum and bass, and hybrid techno. His DJ sets explore atmospheric, minimal, and cinematic realms of drum and bass, techno, and ambient.
